ABS is important for new riders. Although the problem we get from ABS and other technology built into our motorcycles is the robbing of education for the rider.
How does the rider find the edge of traction and learn to control the machine with skill, instead of relying on thinking that their machine will take care of them because it has the newest and most up to date piece of tech built in?
All the bells and whistles still don’t change the fact, that as riders we have the ultimate input to our motorcycle, and therefore; the major errors from riding them is from us.
So, what needs to change?
- Better ABS? … OR,
- Learn more about grip during braking and cornering a motorcycle?
