MARULAN TRACK
Marulan Driver Training Centre is only one and half hours south of the busy city of Sydney. This circuit that will not intimidate you with high speed yet offer you all you need to put together Bernie’s personal systems. There is a lovely air-conditioned classroom, kiosk and brilliantly clean facilities.
Why not book in to one of Bernie’s courses and stay for a track day the next day so you can get some practice in with your new tool box of skills - you may even be able to book a personal one to one session if Bernie is available!
BROADFORD TRACK
Broadford is located approx one hour north of Melbourne. The track layout is well suited for our training and allows for on the spot training, with rises and falls and good combinations that will suit all levels.
What is advanced motorcycling?
Basically it means advancing things on from your current level, whatever that level may be. Personal goals can be identified and a plan developed.
Licensing requirements Australia-wide only cover the very basics of motorcycling, so if you have just got a license you will need to invest in an advanced program. A true advance course will offer the rider new skills and should be done in a safe off-road bitumen training facility!
You may be an experienced rider with years of riding, yet have never had any form of training. Advanced training will confirm if you have the right systems and explain why you use them. It will also offer you new skills and a system of control to help you establish life-saving skills.
All students will require becoming comfortable with new skills and the road system is not the place to be experimenting where there is a need for braking and turning at speed.
You can be only as good as your instructor so insure he/she has the skills required to take you to the next level.
How It Works
Part of the reason for the program's success is the dynamic classroom training, which includes both theory and application of the techniques. By including a basic analysis of vehicular dynamics, riders get a clear understanding of how their actions affect their bikes. This is supported by Bernie’s unparallel skills as a racer, motorcycle mechanic, sports coach, trainer and journalist.
The training is done in a proper rider/driver training facility, where each of the skills are individually broken down and practiced. Working on only one skill at a time is the fastest way to make consistent riding improvements. The beauty of doing it this way is that the student is never asked to make a huge "leap of faith" in any one area. Each skill is built up in small increments until the desired result is achieved. This allows for high confidence and never gets too scary. Combined with a strategic "building block" formula for integrating the individual skills into a complete riding package, the Advanced Motorcycle Training Course enables riders to learn faster and easier than ever before.
Who Teaches It
Bernie Hatton has been a fully qualified and licensed motorcycle instructor since 1984, a fully qualified motorcycle mechanic, and is registered as training organization with the Education Department.
Being recognised for his efforts was one of many high points in Bernie’s life, and you can be assured you have been trained by one of the best in the world.

One to one coaching is also available with Bernie @ $250 per hour plus travel and accommodation costs.
Hire Bikes are 1000cc $700.00 per day , 600cc $500 per day
Bike transportation from Queensland and return $500 per bike
